If a person can sue for divorce in the US, can a person also sue for marriage?

Sorry. I guess I got the wrong impression. I had visions of being awakened late at night by a large surly guy who would be wanting to defend your honor and all that kind of stuff.
I'm at an age where I tend to get cranky when I'm awakened in the middle of the night by a guy with mayhem on his mind. I imagine I would forget my manners altogether and that wouldn't help the situation either.
Besides, I don't have a whole lot of rules in my life but there is one that has always served me well; I don't poach in someone else's pasture. I might if I'm invited but then whoever invited me is going to have to take care of whatever misery that might have caused.
Anyway Gilly, I would love to have your calendar. Even though we're already half way through the year.
Larry

Lol, large surly guy?
Check my album.. I think there is a pic of Justin there. He is about.. 125 lbs, and 5'5":)
I am 2 inches taller, and 20 lbs heavier:)
And, You get extra pics, if you only order half of the calander. I might be able to arrange a discount, too;)
We are common- law (have been for.. 6 years). Not married. I don't see the point. Besides, i like to live "un-tethered".... I don't do well with wedding rings, and commitments....
Come on over, I can deal with the misery for ya.. and plus Justin is away for another 3 months:) Mua hahaha... living on the base though, i have had LOTS of help from male neighbors...... wives around here don't care for me though....Ta well:)

I thought that's what divorce in essence was.

my dad is my stepdad by law, but he is my dad for life!!
mom always said why ruin a good thing. and right behind that she would say she is not sure he is the right one!!!
by the way, gilly, your daughter is so precious!

Yuppers, no marriage for me. He may BE the "right one"... but, if he isn't... I have room to stray;) , just joking:) Actually, we aren't quite normal. No marriage means no anniverseries, we also don't celebrate birthdays (yes, we acknowlege them.. just no cake, or presents. The day is like any other day), or with our daughter. We don't celebrate ANY holiday, including easter and christmas, etc etc. mother's day, father's day, you name it. We don't do it. My daughter is great, smart, well adjusted and wonderful:) Here is a recent pic from this weekend, that is Justin in the background:)
