Ok, so I am scouring the threads and I can't find any updates on Charmin's Grandbaby...Last I saw it looked like she went into labor on like Wednesday and they sent her home...Is there a baby yet?? Did I miss something??? Did it get buried in 27 pages of thread I haven't gotten to yet???
Come on.. you can't make us wait like this...I wanna know...

Well, I'll answer for Charmin I guess. There's still no baby yet. The actual duedate is next Friday. If the baby isn't born by then, they will induce labor.

Thanks for the update...Must have been a pretty severe case of false labor...Hopefully it will happen soon. I know how it is to be pregnant during the summer...It's not a fun thing!!!

Why not tell the cats? Are they blabber mouths? Or will they just tease him mercilessly.. :nana: :crying2:
fixed is not the best term.... a more updated term might be motivationally challenged.. :)
Thanks for the update Don. Should we start a pool? I'm gonna say she will be born on Wednesday the 12th. :drums:

I was 7 months pregnant in August 1992 when Hurricane Andrew hit. You wanna talk about HOT??? We had no power for 3 days, thus no a/c. Bad enough I was waddling around with my huge belly, but then being all sticky and sweaty made it even worse. I almost had to be induced, too. I was scheduled to be induced on a Tuesday, but she arrived on Monday.
Hope she delivers soon, Charmin.

WOw! Y'all look awfully young to have kids that age! How do you keep sibling rivalry under control? Or do they all get along well?

Luly.. I was preggy during summer too:) but, we couldn't AFFORD A/C:) Luckily, it isn't THAT hot in Halifax:) Sky was a month early, and was born in Sept... AND I was induced:)
Actually.. my prenancy only seemed to be like.. 4 months long, because I didn't find out I WAS pregnant, until I was 4 1/2 months along already. THAT was a wild day:) I go in for a routine check up, and come out pregnant. WHEW! What a shocker, eh?:)
(The saddest thing? I walked out in my pre-pregnancy clothes (size 2-4). Only gained 14 lbs when I was preggy....so, sadly, i can't blame the weight on the kid.. it all went on AFTER i had 'er:) Now I have no excuse to be fat.... I better go pop out another kid so I can blame it on them..... Well, them or McDonalds.......
Seriously, I like kids... i just don't think I could eat a whole one.

They are far enough apart in age to where they do get along. Different interests and friends...it's not too bad...Don't get me wrong they have had their share of fighting...all kids do..... But I tell you those 12 straight years of Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers almost did me in. And I can't remember how many years of Barney...UUUGGG!!!
I am so thankful they are older...We are just waiting on the last two to get out of the house at this point.
Thanks for the youthful comment we get that a lot...Not sure how we have managed to stay so young looking...Maybe it's that big tupperware container we sleep in at night...Hmmm, maybe....Or maybe the fact that we just try to have fun and not take life too seriously...My philosphy is "how is this going to affect my life in 5 years?"

It's not the past years of Mr. Roger's, Barney, and Captain Kangaroo that bother me. It's the fear that the future years might be that way too :(

I guess you weren't showing yet. I felt the baby squirming around when I was only about 3 months along and I was definitely showing by my 4th month. You only gained 14 lbs? Wow, not bad.
