Charmin - it's all good. I agree with you I was very guarded at first, but as time went by I found people on the forum are good people just having fun. I hope that wasn't offensive in anyway. Now you're seeing my personality come out. I remember that thread you are talking about. I stated I was uncomfortable with a lot of sexual talk because I didn't really know the people on the forum. I think I'm like that in real life too. I have to get to know a person before I feel comfortable joking that way with them.

Well, I was feeling a bit like a bitty  when I wrote this the other day. I'm over it now though. Heck, if I woulda recalled this, I would have edited it.
Actually, no worries...... I guess that comment did sound out of line a bit now that I reread it. Sorry about it, really..... sometimes I do stuff without thinking how it will sound to others. Didn't mean to sound like such a smart azz. It comes naturally sometimes..... Especially on bad days.
You're all good Babs. No reason you shouldn't be able to loosen up like the rest of us do. (just don't ever get as bad as me... then threads start disappearing!!)

I try to not rub people the wrong way with my yacking -content- in here, try not to get really personal anymore, or take part in the denegration, or "gang-banging" of anyone anywhere, I used to get a cheap "rush" out've online altercations. I don't have the energy for it these days.. While no one will ever shut me up, I still try not to get involved in political stuff, try not to take sides with anyone in the boards... Figure if I leave people alone, in turn I'll be left alone... Took along time to realize that it's important I don't forget that these bboards are supposed to be (and remain) fun *FOR ME*... I don't pay a monthly internet fee to create more BS in my life... When you think about it, the only thing more stupid than fighting on the internet, is allowing the internet to become another source of anguish in your life, losing site of why people join these sites to begin with... It's real easy to get sidetracked, the more people you know in life, the more problems you are exposed to... So while I don't make a concerted effort to NOT have my posts pulled, I do make a concerted effort to not get them pulled for attacking anyone, causing a fight, taking part in one, etc..
I've tried to mellow abit even in the past two or three years... I think it's possible to be outspoken, without participating in any ad hominem BS... I guess there's a natural tendency as people get to know one-another, to drift from Singer's Showcase, and obviously Singer's forum, tech forums too in the case of some that have/had alot of skill in their respective areas... Sad thing is, in the process of getting to know one-another, when there are altercations, we lose good musician's, and tech's alike..It happens in here, and it happens in Singer's Showcase, often because of "C", and rank related crud, anything that might become a source of friction, in time, becomes one.
I really like the discipline Lonman has.... He has the discipline to stick with his tech interest, help in that area steadily, without losing site of his area of interest here at Karaoke Scene.. I try to learn from people like him, but I still end up hanging in the playground here instead... often even talking to myself.. Not sure how smart it really is to not be getting more into the musical aspects of Karaoke Scene, Singer's Showcase, but instead, escape in "Discussion Forum" where the alter-ego, or inner-child can run loose and have a second childhood... I guess that becomes an individual choice....
Yet I think it's true that the more focused a person stays, adhering to what it is that drew them here to begin with, without allowing themselves to lose site of that, and stray in here for inordinate time-spans... The more they get out've this experience.... Getting too into some of the school playground type stuff has always led to trouble for me....
There's always "Pong" during the particularly tense periods.

Was ALL of that actual "signing" ? or was their mime mixed in as well ? Anyone know enough about :sign language: to know if he was rhythmically able to sign like that ? Pretty funny.. I wonder how tough it is to choreograph something like that with music... If it can or can't be done with alot of songs..

Don't know if he was doing it rythmically, and I only know a few select words in sign language, Steven. I wish I knew what song he was signing to, it looked verrrry interesting! I'd give him a 10 for orignality and just for plain having fun!

Not sure, I'm blind too..
Never liked Natalie Imbruglia... "Torn".. For some reason, I always found that song boring.

It's not any currently accepted sign language that I can tell. I think it is old school sign language, before 17th century.

That reminds me, I have old recording of "Torn" I did a couple of years ago. I should sub it so you can hear how terrible my mixing was on it. I think I will. :dancin:

That's what we need now, the Civil Disabilities groups to insist bar's have Karaoke monitor's that encrypt lyrics into braille.
