they're building a new players next to my old venue and i've been told that gig is mine.  plus i talked with the manager of my old gig the other day.  i may not lose it after all, but it does not look good.

He really is Jeffieokie. I hope you get a chance to check him out. His gig is actually outside of Austin in a town that is not spelled the way we spell things in English. It starts with a silent p and sounds a little like Flugelhorn.

yep! the "P" is silent...kinda like when i get up at night to go and forget to lift the lid on which my wife has one of those stupid fuzzy covers.
