Sorry it took me so long to post but I was ignoring this thread.  But I got bored with that.  Besides you guys/gals are very difficult to ignore.

I don't know if people ignore me or not.  It's really difficult to determine another's person's motivations when you are standing in front of them.  It's downright impossible on-line.

I post a lot of wise-a$$ stuff.  Sometimes there's a response and sometmes not.  I don't assume one thing or another.  If there's no repsonse it could be that I've really offended someone or that what I posted just wasn't as witty as I thought.  Or it could be that it was so witty that there was no point in responding.  Or maybe someplace in between.  Anyway, I don't worry about it.  Life's too short for that.

Larry

to quote the site directly:

Adding an image to a post
BBCode incorporates a tag for including images in your posts. Two very important things to remember when using this tag are: many users do not appreciate lots of images being shown in posts and second, the image you display must already be available on the Internet (it cannot exist only on your computer, for example, unless you run a webserver!). There is currently no way of storing images locally. To display an image, you must surround the URL pointing to the image with tags. For example:

Image

As noted in the URL section above you can wrap an image in a [url][/url] tag if you wish, eg.

Image

would generate:

<pic>

LOL ok... I do that. I thought you meant there was some other way of doing it (possibly simpler?). I have a photobucket account, and that's what I was using :D

Fiery - a lot of servers give you free space for a website. It is free!
I store pictures in there instead of using photobucket. You can keep the pictures there as long as you'd like that way. My server provides a website program that makes building a website dumby proof too.

the reason posts get ignored is that whole tangents appear on these threads, and I for one don't like to go reading everything that's being talked about on here. My purpose for being here is to talk about karaoke. While I realize that won't take a lot of time, it's why I found this site, and why I've been on here.

If a thread looks interesting, I'll read it. To be honest, once I saw Gilly's new tats, I DID decide to read all the way through. Such a wonderful job on those gurl... nice job!

But this is the exception and not the rule. Normally I don't stick with a thread that often once it's deviated that far off course...

Want to know why your question wasn't answered... heck PM the person you asked!!

I did it because it made me think of what might be crossing people's minds when this happens.

On another note, What kind of thread do you recomend? Or maybe what kind of thread was normal back in the good old days? :)

If you don't feel the motvation to answer, I will respect that.

As I said, many of the threads on here have been ones I've ignored just due to the subject title. Not saying they're not valid for folks on here, just not valid for ME.

I don't pretend to know your demons, ATM, nor your history of other sites.

I'm glad you've made friends here, and have a good time. That's what the forums are for! Not all are meant for everyone, and I never implied otherwise.

I also haven't attacked you, and from the one on the other thread, I can't say the same about you to me. Much of what you wrote was uncalled for. You obviously have had issues with other sites or other postors. Not me, and I resent the implication. I'll hold my 3500 posts in three years to your plethora of posts in under a month anyday for substance VS a need for attention.

Different strokes for different folks!

I believe that post included an apology in the event that I was wrong. I'm sorry if you missed that or if it was not enough.

Yes there is a need for attention. Being mostly house bound makes it hard for me to get out do normal things such as work, talk to people at work, talk to people at the gas sation, etc.

I am sorry that I put you in the position for you to have to add the comment quoted above.

So, in my position would that need for attention be anything but healthy?

I didn't know that point was to post substance. I thought that sunstance was something we were trying to avoid. Could be wrong.
