I’m kidding, chris, sorry for the bit snarky retort on my part. However, I probably would’ve paid that amount years ago when it was pulled off the market (before zoom version). The assumption has always been a rare & personally signed item increases in value but through the years with all the clouded controversy surrounding sc I’m not sure if the item with an affixed signature by the ceo could still command a hefty sum of $$ - imho. My apologies if you have one signed by Kurt.

My apologies if you have one signed by Kurt. I think the controversy over that particular disc would make the signature an extraordinary price enhancer.

Meh. If you get the $200 opening bid, take it and run.
The perceived value of this obsolete plastic is only going to go down...not up.

Auction ended. I’m sure there were a lot of bidders but no sale because your “reserve not met” is too high. What was it? $599.00? Friendly recommendation: lower your reserve & make it free shipping. Tho’ shipping is only $3.00 it still leave a ‘sour taste in the mouth’ for that high priced item. Something to consider. Relisted here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 1406451478

If you have a reserve anyway, there is no reason to start bidding at anything but $0.99.
I always start big ticket item bidding at $1 with free shipping, no reserve. The first time I did it I was super nervous but it brought a crap-load of people to the auction, and it ended very well. If you hook em early with low bids, you have a much larger bidding pool and a very good chance they will fight for it at the end. Even those that may not have even bid at all with a high starting price.
Of course you also have to be willing to admit the the item you are selling, may not be worth what you think it is worth.

Except you have people like me that make one and only one bid with only 2-4 secs left in auction.

Yup.. isn't Auctionstealer and Esnipe a beautiful thing?! both good programs, but I found one just as good and it's only $6 a year for the premium service. gixen gixen.com only thing is it won't work with windows 8 unless you run it in compatibility mode for win7 or earlier. been using it for years without the premium service.

I just watch the auctions myself. No need for apps to snipe for me.

I've watched the sniper apps fight it out in the final 5 or 6 seconds with a dozen bids... ... and they don't fall asleep on the couch Chris.

I pre-determine my max bid then that's what I use in gixen. if someone beats me with a higher bid then bully for them. I can wait to get it at a good price.
