Post subject:  Russian Karaoke?
I just started a new gig on a trial basis. First night was last night.

I REALLY want to keep this gig! The owner of the venue is a professional sound engineer that also runs a recording studio. There is a REAL stage with an amazing sound system that we get to tap into for karaoke. (see pics)

He actually mixes the sound for us!!

Anyway.... He and his wife are Russian. They want Russian karaoke because they have a lot of friends in the area that are also Russian and they want to be able to accommodate them along with English karaoke.

The only Russian karaoke I have found is here - http://www.karaoke.ru - but it is of course....in Russian. I also have no idea what songs they would want, what is popular, etc.

Anyone?

Have you asked them for a list of Artists and song titles that they are familiar with? That would be a good start.

Used Russian karaoke DVD. 150 songs for only $12.90. Probably need to ‘ask seller a question’ re: graphics.

ask them for their faves. that is what i did with the spanish karaoke here in Mexico...i mean AZ.
diferent singers gave me a list of songs and i got them.
also, have you tried using google chrome browser and the integrated translate feature? have it open and buy on the fly. that should also help secure the gig as you are willing to get it right now for them.
