I think it is a pretty safe bet that new production of SC material is still a ways off. You are left with PEP and now SCE, what my dad would call the old one two punch. Working together these two companies are hoping to get a sizable piece of the current karaoke servicing market, since they feel it is ripe for the picking. The problem is of course that they have limited resources and can only go about this in a very slow manner currently. I was just wondering if some player emerged with the financial ability to really make this plan work, what would happen? If PEP and SEC proved that this formula is effective and there is money to be made, what would prevent a larger company from buying them out and really making their business plan work? If that were to happen where would that leave all hosts legal and illegal? Would we see a national karaoke service company, a karaoke Mc Donald's?

Don't get me wrong guys to me this is still in the saber rattling window dressing phase. The chances of SCE or PEP doing much is still doubtful. It would take a massive infusion of cash and the hope that it would be profitable enough to work. I still think this is a weak attempt by Kurt and Jim to make others feel that SC is still a player and should be feared. The weak and gullible will buy into whatever they happen to be selling at the moment. Then again Mac Donald's was just one store with an idea, and along came a salesman who was smart enough to buy out the brothers and franchise the concept, making the salesman rich.

Sorry this is all my fault I got the alphabet soup wrong original post should have been SCE not SEC, my bad. I went back and corrected things so wouldn't be confusing.
