That a fair number of the remaining Digitrax employees were given the "pink slip boot" as the company begins to shut down over the next few days.
Not like it would have been a real surprise.... the library kept shrinking and the last "incentive" was a half-price fire sale.

Doesn't look like a rumor according to Debi Stovall

Ms Stovall clearly holds animosity towards the company and I don't doubt that what she says is true. But I have a problem with people jumping to the conclusion that the company is out of business as a result of her posts. As far as I am aware, she does not work for them....their sites and services remain up and running and until I see an official statement from DT - It's all speculation

Sorry € 59.90/month ($65USD/Month) ($85CAD/Month) https://www.karaokemedia.com/en/cuenta/premiumpro/It does say 28000 but when installing the Professional Player, you will see 29000+ after update. Terminal License for 2 Digital Songbook Request stations additional € 199 (250 USD) Also do keep in mind that the player format does support MP3+ CDG (NOT ZIPPED) This is actually the best deal for subscription for professionals as compared to Karafun Pro sub for $99usd/monthly ($145CAD) for 24000+ songs.

Not the greatest quality of music. I listened to a bunch of samples. I really wasn't impressed.

My sources say that this rumor is completely unfounded and that Digitrax is not shutting down.

JimHarrington wrote: My sources say that this rumor is completely unfounded and that Digitrax is not shutting down. Does your source also say that no one at DT has lost a job in the last couple weeks? Point of order: You, as "the source" have also repeatedly over the years promised new music, "getting the band back together" and a number of other "unfounded promises" that has so far, turned out to be nothing but "rumors." So tell me, if what you say regarding your own company is suspect, why should anything you say regarding DT have any credibility? Just askin'....

(As per usual, Mr. Staley distracts from his... let's be charitable and call it a misfire...by launching into a personal attack.)
My sources say that the rumor as you presented it is unfounded, and that the company is not shutting down.
I did not ask whether anyone had lost a job there in the last couple of weeks, as that is not what you said.
I also did not vouch for the information presented by my sources, although I have no reason to believe they are lying to me.

JimHarrington wrote: (As per usual, Mr. Staley distracts from his... let's be charitable and call it a misfire...by launching into a personal attack.) Obviously, you are confusing "facts" with "personal attack" because everything posted above is factual. You made the promises, I didn't. JimHarrington wrote: My sources say that the rumor as you presented it is unfounded, and that the company is not shutting down. And my sources claim that is what was told to them when they (and others) were let go. So, if the company is not shutting down, I wonder if there are any labor laws being broken here.... hmmm... JimHarrington wrote: I did not ask whether anyone had lost a job there in the last couple of weeks, as that is not what you said. Of course not.... it's a technicality and we know how you thrive on technicalities. JimHarrington wrote: I also did not vouch for the information presented by my sources, although I have no reason to believe they are lying to me. And you have just as much reason to believe they are, which means you don't really know anything on the subject than you did from the start. Name your source first, and I'll name mine. (and it's not Stovall) Ball is in your court.
