Looks like another seller of loaded karaoke hard drive :argue: is out there. Feedback shows that three have been sold and has two new postings on ebay. I flagged for ebay to look at the listing for prohibited items policy. 500 MB HD with 37 thousand tracks kind of give it away. Seller is http://myworld.ebay.com/the954man/ Just though I would put it out there. Getting old trying to run a legal business with all of this easy access for start-up karaoke businesses to jump in without the investments we all have made.

This one is even nastier. They are using the eBay giving program to donate to St. Judes. This is prominently displayed on the ad.

The "No Rain" sample on the web page is the DK Karaoke version of that same track.

These kinds of people make my blood boil! Sorry, but that’s just my way of thinking at the moment.

Heck! I spent countless thousands of $$ for 20 year collection of 20k karaoke tracks & only cost the buyer (our competition) a measly $179 for 37k songs. Really! An overnight kj with more tracks than any of us legit kj’s! Unbelievable! http://www.ebay.com/itm/321402715614

We all know piracy is uncontrollable & it’s here to stay. All we can do is let the competition provide us with the great motivation to be the best that we can possibly be to stay in business. Playing by the rules + experience will always achieve far better success!

I don't even blame the "overnight KJ" so much as the sellers. They are the real pirates as far as I am concerned. Sure, the buyers are too, but I imagine many of them see "Officially licensed" and swallow that without thinking twice.

I agree. if you look on craigslist chicago there are tons of them on there. I just bought all my music LEGAL discs and these scabs are out there running cut price shows and out bidding me. Like can't even pay for gas to get to and from show low.
