This is not the first illegitimate track seller they have sued, is it? I seem to remember there being, like, two others...

...incidentally, Stellar has another suit AGAINST them, filed in May...perhaps part of their motivation to step up THEIR suing machine?!?!?

That's who everybody should be suing, instead of the KJ who converted his files from CD to MP3+G...

If the actually 1:1 KJ weren't so rare, you'd have a point.

Mudge is not new to being sued.... Galaxy entertainment (a karaoke company owned by his late mother Tanya Mudge) was sued by SC back in 2000 (or 2001) after a "federal marshal raid" on one of their clubs.

It was reported that the "raid" netted exactly ZERO.... which made the federal judge who was talked into authorizing a warrant and allowing the raid to take place become a laughing stock amongst his piers. And an "inspector" (presumably their lawyer in the case) was seen "examining" the discs they owned wearing white gloves... however he literally dropped them in a metal bucket rather than return them to their cases. This action prompted a very heated argument in court regarding due diligence and physical damages.

The owner of Galaxy said to me at the time that "investigators" had been hired to simply steal songbooks from karaoke bars. One of these "investigators" was caught by a host who had recognized him as the son of a family friend. That person spilled the beans that he was getting paid $125/ night "just to steal songbooks" and turn them in.

If we are so rare, then we should probably be given a pass on all of the audit stuff since we would have next to no impact on the bottom line.
