If you buy the CB KJMP HD do they consider the buyer to be a certified CB KJ or would there also be the need of the audit?

Hiteck I would check with CB...it would make sense if all the CB you were using was the media pro that it may count. But I could not say for certain and if you had a good selection on CDGS/SD card it may be a bit more costly to unlock songs you may have already purchased. My grandma always taught me to ask.....if you don't the answer is always no...if you do the answer may be yes

so pay the 200 for the certification(audit), then use the $200 credit you get to buy the kjmp hard drive.

to me if you are using KJPro then the mediaPro makes perfect sense...it makes for the lowest cost new releases from CB...wish we could use KJPro but they will not make a patch for our video files (I will not give up my Pioneer LD files)

I love the old Pioneer LD's!! Don't use them anymore though.. so heavy to cart around and having to use the player (it's purdy danged old too!) with a switchbox... computer's made me lazy

it took me over 5 years to convert properly my pioneer LD's to usable digital files but only some hosters will play them without jumping tru alto of hoops...I now own 4 sets and may buy more as I find them reasonably. I love them Love them Love them and it cracks me up that newbies think they are the newest thing

Although I was one of the ones certified, I dropped all but one of my certified discs in favor of the KJ MEdia Pro. I retained my certified status.

It wasn't that long ago when I was playing them and the 'kids' thought they were so cool!! "
I did convert some to VCD but then got a new player that won't play VCD. Karma won't play vcd either.. I gave up... converting real time takes forever and I barely have time to keep my books up to date. A kiosk is next!

Chartbuster has a 'tax' sale going on right now... $3500 for 12,000 songs, their entire library. Seems to me that this would be cheaper than the KJMP drive purchase where you have to buy all songs.. even those I already have. The 12,000 song purchase comes with the certified legal status also.

That might be a great idea....then sell the disc on EBay in lots of ten and make some cash back...the media pro does have the benefit of being updated with new songs regularly however and you don't have to re-purchase the songs you already have or song that are not requested o it may be a wash

I noticed on the kjmp that you have to use compuhost also. I use Karma and love it.. I just may do that 12,000 song thing.. .the sale is over on Feb 29. Might as well go into debt again! geeezz..

yes Karma is a good hoster ...you may even get more for your used CB discs than you think if you sell in batches of 10

I think it's a great idea to sell the old cb disc's!! Unless I keep for a second rig... maybe will wait and see if the illegals get caught soon!! Might be some venues looking for a great kj soon!!

Call and ask HiTech as stated unless the Media-pro was all the CB you were using I would think an audit would still be needed to verify your CDG/SD's libraries...,.but until someone asks we don't know. However we do now know the 12000 song SD card does come with certification. 3500.00 on sale - 175.00 referral credit for the entire CB library is a great deal 3325.00 wow 27 cents per song

I was told that if I only had ten or fewer discs that I did not have to go through an audit. I had three at the time of the audit and only added one purchase plus the two free discs I received from Chartbuster when I purchaseed the KJ Media Pro.

I'd keep your CB disks that the songs are missing from the hard drive. IE first to mind Bon Jovi They were pulled as well as other I think about 1000-2000 songs short of a full library of cb Correct? They are selling 12,000 songs?
