| Post subject: | ASCAP & BMI fees |
The bar where I do karaoke has paid their ASCAP fees. They were recently contacted by BMI to pay another fee. I was under the (apparently wrong) impression that one fee covered both organizations. Are there other organizations that require fees from bars for karaoke? |

There are actually three they need to pay. ASCAP/BMI/SESAC. Paying ASCAP only covers anything recorded under the ASCAP blanket (so to speak). |
