Is it legal, is it moral or is it just the way things are? http://www.ioffer.com/i/karaoke-music-c ... -169282219 |

Illegal as heck cause you know they aren't including the discs with the drive to cover the over 210,000 songs on the drive. |

Especially since they are showing a SC screen. Might be a cracked version of Karma which wouldn't surprise me either. Almost makes you wonder why the software manus aren't getting involved with these sorts of sales. Sent a message to Latishaw for the hell of it with the link. Piracy of software is equally as bad. |

Well of course it's legal and moral. Afterall it cost $299 for 210,000 songs. That's ,1495 cents per song, a perfectly reasonable amount to pay for a song, don't you think? And of course the above is slightly sarcastic. |

Wow, here's a chance for SC to nail this guy at a low cost I would think. Already displaying the SC logo, that sticks out like a sore thumb. And the size of that DJ library! I barely have over 13,000 DJ songs and I painstakingly retag everything, add artwork, year song was released and chart positions if applicable. I've spent nearly 5 grand on DJ songs to get to that number including shifting all my personal CDs I bought over the years. It's not like you can go on ebay and buy hundreds, even thousands of songs on cds at great prices like you can huge lots of cdgs. This just burns my arse! Ironically, look at his user name! What a turd! Oh well, I guess in life we all get what we deserve sooner or later! |

This just goes to show how rampant the piracy really is, if you go down through his past sales of hard drives and the other stolen music that he is selling this one pirate has created or helped along over 500 additional pirates. How many millions of dollars has this one pirate cost the karaoke makers, artist, labels, music stores, and yes the legitimate KJs and DJs out here today. |

OEMs such as Sound Choice and Chartbuster can have these auctions pulled just as Microsoft does for infringement of intellectual property rights. Using their names and trademarks are not allowed. They should have their attorney drawup a cease and desist letter to stop his auctions, get the info for the person that is infringing on intellectual property rights from ebay and sue him. |

I have just called him a muppet. Thing is... when you make an offer you get this statement. Important: Please remember you are entering into a legally binding contract to buy the item(s) from the seller at your offer price using one of the seller's accepted payment methods. |

I noticed that too, but does he accept the offer and let the post stand for everyone to see? |

He wont accept the offer. He knows the site would work things out once I pointed out I can't buy illegal goods. |

The site does not work like ebay. I just bought 5 off him or so I thought. He now has 3 days to decide if he wants to sell to me or not. Together with not being able to flag as bad he will probably get away with it. |

He rejected my offer of 5 full price drives. The site now has a Report Item decal. You can write why and then oops... Where's the send icon? |
