I don't know why anyone would think that Kurt and Sound Choice would prefer to sue people vs producing content. It isn't enjoyable, it isn't easier, it isn't more profitable. It is simply the only recourse they have to stay afloat. We have a winner. jclaydon wrote: Still waiting to hear about this so called announcement..
Maybe 'soon' meant in Febuary.. I'm not going to hold my breath tho. January. Perhaps your readers would like to know what medium will be used to make this announcement (i.e. this forum, SC website, etc.)... Also, the countdown is on: 5 business days left in January.....

It seems that change/progress takes a little longer at SC based on their message at their website "We're working to improve the Sound Choice website" ..... which has not changed in over a year.

You see I was right, it does take a little longer for them to produce, but it will be worth the wait.

SC producing a product is like getting an Elephant pregnant. The screwing takes place in high places and then it takes 2 years to see the results.

Maybe 'soon' meant in Febuary.. I'm not going to hold my breath tho. January. I just noticed HL did not state January 2015, or was that implied?

Does it really matter whether SC is going to release any new material? They haven't released anything for so long and we got along just fine without them. My new material comes from either SBI, Zoom or Karaoke Version. And in the latest HD video. And all are outstanding quality both in sound and graphics. So why does anyone care what SC is doing?
With that said, I wish SC well.

Our pending announcement has nothing to do with new recordings, at least not yet. We're almost ready to roll--just waiting on a few small items, mostly paperwork and completion of the new website.

However, saying "January.", without any hint of disclaimer or improbability, is... Two business days and counting..

I predict - No Matter what the announcement is, there will be those that will respond negatively. Even if the announcement is that Sound Choice is giving everyone $10,000. People will find fault in it.

Right, because no business ever missed a deadline before. You realize that we usually work on Saturdays, too, right? Just having a little fun with a sometimes irritating idiosyncrasy of mine: an acute recognition of improper verbiage, often accentuated by the irony of the genesis of said verbiage. In this example, there is a specifically distinct difference between "January." and even "we are projecting January.", that all but eliminated interpretation, especially since, in this case "January." was the response following a request for clarification about the timing of the announcement. The business day countdown is also based on the commonly accepted business day model, and after further research, the only specific proof confirms this, given this quote from the soundchoicestore.com FAQ: "What Are Your Business Hours? 8:30am-5:00pm, Eastern Time, Monday - Friday." The "usually work on Saturdays" used above does not show specific proof of business day operation, if for no other reason, because it does not fall within the quoted time frame above; furthermore, even if one were to arbitrarily set aside this requirement, it does not specifically address the single Saturday in question, being January 31, 2015... All this being said, a forum post does not a contract make--or does it???
