Moon, I would agree that your opinion makes sense as stated, but I never mentioned anything about a virus... Where'd that come from?

The virus information came from the same forum and the same thread where they were discussing altering the tracks. According to the individual who stated that has been altering tracks, he has been working with someone else to develop a virus that will execute upon download.

Then that individual should be reported to the authorities or the whole forum is assisting in the crime by their silence.

I find it hilarious to see those who purport to be against piracy taking part in piracy, with the claim to be fighting it. LMAO
Can we say, "hypocrite"?
I too, would wonder what the manufacturers would think of such a thing.
Mr. Harrington, care to tell us what your take on such a tactic would be, legally speaking?
What about your client? I wonder how SC would react to such a scheme were their tracks being used for that purpose.

I wouldn't sweat it. After all it is, from the opening post, just hearsay, rumor and conjecture from "another forum".

"Admittedly only a rumor" indeed.

Not.

It is more than that because it was not stated that anyone was "thinking about, wondering, speculating" at all. It was a statement of fact that they were already working on it with the intent to upload a malicious virus.

That is not rumor, it's conspiracy. There is a huge difference.

Because everything you read on an internet forum, gleaned from another internet forum, is 100% accurate and truthful. Gotcha.

BTW: I still have that bridge for sale Chip, if interested. (Admittedly only a rumor)

Been watching all this and I find it intriguing.

Which forum? Which P2P site? What songs?

Is anybody reporting these people?

Who do we report it to?

Nothing better than a perfect Cuban Montechristo#4 cigar and Havana Dark Rum on a beautiful Cuban beach. So relaxing.
