Chris, why on Earth would you be carrying your gear in? We play 6 nights a week and we never carry gear in - we use these:

I have one of those too, but actually, the only equipment I haul in and out is the external hard drive my show music is stored on. Everything else for my two shows is stored onsite.

My Fri/Sat show has dedicated equipment that stays on site and just has to be moved out of the back and side rooms. I can set this one up in 30 mins. I can cut it to 20 if I want to break a sweat. I could do it in 15 if I didn't have to move a pool table and a bunch of tables and chairs to make a "stage area" for the singers. Shut down is 20-30 mins each night depending on how big of a hurry I am in.

My Sun-Thurs show uses the house amps/speakers/lights. My rack mounted PC and case for the mics stay in the DJ booth. On Sunday night is is literally 7 mins from the time I walk in the front door until I can put a singer up. Every other night is about 3 mins since I leave everything in place from the night before. I could cut it to 1 min if I left the PC on over night. Shut down is about 3 mins each night except Thursday when I pack up the mics and wired mic cable and stand.

You actually move a Pool Table to do your show?
I'll bet that makes the Pool Players really happy to now that they
have to play on an un-leveled table once you've moved it and moved it back!

The floor is smooth concrete and they put those furniture sliders under the legs. It probably wouldn't meet regulation, but it doesn't seem to cause enough grief to warrant complaints.
