That sounds like a really good band name.

This person is doing what KJ Bill does with a few extra bells and whistles. I seriously doubt anything significant will come from reporting him as KJ Bill is still alive and well with a brand new marketing campaign on Craigslist right now.

I wonder if Visa Master Card knows this perp is running a criminal enterprise and collecting the money from them?

Of course nothing will come of it. SC isn't interested in stopping piracy. They are more interested in chasing KJs. I know you cheerleaders don't want to believe that, but everything they do tells me I am right. When you have these hard drive sellers keep staying in business, but KJs are being inspected at their shows, it just shows that SC is NOT interested in anything but controlling how their product is used in show, and how many KJs they can get listed on their website. They are just trying to keep up appearances.

These guys got BALLS. Even listing their email address & phone #. Like saying “catch us if you can”.

“You’re paying for time to transfer items to drive and cost of the drive, you agree that you own DJ Music, Karaoke or Music Videos”.

Then, on another page, this:
“200K Karaoke MP3+G Full collections updated through November 2012. Other sellers that claim to have more you are buying duplicates my collection only includes the best versions hand picked by me and my karaoke clients. Full Collections, Sound Choice, DK, Chartbuster, Pop Hits Monthly, Mr Entertainer, Sunfly, Fast Traxx & many more. Also many homemade custom karaoke songs not found anywhere else. You Provide 1TB Karaoke MP3+G - $212, Pre Loaded 1TB Karaoke MP3+G - $312”.
Wow! Labor to transfer 200k files = $212.

This website should be reported to authorities. Here’s where the Sleps’ could make bucko settlement $$. :)

Sound Choice doesn't care about piracy, if they stop it, their revenue stream dries up. They need pirated hard drives in the market place for their customer base and certified KJs to feed them sales leads. It's an awesome business model.

How about, as as audit, SC looks at my cdgs, and gives me the corresponding mp3gs in 320 files? Coded for my use ony, and at a reasonable cost. Might be cheaper than buying a pirate hd, and erasing the mp3gs for cdgs, that you don't own.

Let's just say that you are a disc based KJ like Joe C. Then let's say that you have decided to go the laptop route to do your shows. Now you have a thousand Sound Choice discs in your library that you need to spend hours upon hours ripping and naming properly. Your next door neighbor's son is a really smart kid who is really great with computers. What would you be willing to pay that kid to rip a thousand karaoke discs to your computer? All this guy is doing is offering that same service for a much cheaper price than you'd have to pay the kid next door for providing you with the same service. I guess you expect the guy to only offer this service after you pass an audit to prove that you own the discs that correspond to the tracks on the hard drive.

Just because some people might use this guys service to become a pirate; that doesn't mean that his service is, in and of itself, illegal. Some certified disc based KJ might actually buy a hard drive from this guy and delete all of the tracks that he didn't have a corresponding disc for. In that case, how is th eseller doing anything illegal?

You believe your propaganda and I'll believe mine. Guns don't kill people. People kill people. Buying a loaded hard drive doesn't automatically make you a pirate. You might just want someone else to spend their time ripping the tracks for you.

It's kind of like religions. Some people believe the jesus propaganda and some people believe the Islamic propaganda and some people believe the Buddist propaganda etc.

Phone # is good. I called & it was a recording. He sound like a young dude. “This is **** from Idaho DJ’s. Please leave your…. etc etc”.
I’d like to leave a message, pretend I’m the “authorities” but my slight accent will give me away. Not believable. Any takers for fun? Scare the living sh*t out of him! LOL
