I really wanted to hear what those who believe the conduct of mfgrs justifies piracy thought about the
Philoshical basis of their argument if it were to be put into practice against pirates.

Out of line? Yes.. and deleted..

All we ask is our users stop beating that poor dead horse.

Continue at your own risk.

Yes, piracy exists. No, just because the mfgrs do it, does not make it right for KJs.

Only the copyright holders can bring suit for redress.

The normal KJ does not have any standing in our legal system. Get over it.

If I were to buy 1000 disks, I could not verify they were legit.

I'm relying on the honesty of the retailer that he didn't make an extra 10,000 copies somewhere in Canada.

And just so you know, I did (my moons ago) produce media. (CDs and DVDs)
A group from Canada broke into my New York warehouse and emptied it..

Try getting that resolved..

(I'm over it) But, it was tough seeing my product for sale all over and no profit headed my way..

Wasn't aware anyone had declared the horse dead, but fine by me. I was inspired to get on the topic by ehat was transpiring in the Digitracks lawsuit thread. I couldn't find anything new on the lawsuit, just a lot of back and forth about you know what.
