Ah....but it actually is pretty easy to tell the good guys from the bad guys - In my case, just look at the cover of my song books. Or even look me up on the Sound Choice web site. Or just ask me to produce my discs.

In reality it is very easy to tell the good guys from the bad guys.....just ask. The good guys have nothing to hide. -Chris
I too will post/send you pictures of everything I claim to have. Put up or shut up.

I know that with The Cloud, downloads, legal 12K hard drives, SCDG's etc., you can have a lot without looking like you have much at all, but most of us have been around way before the afore mentioned medias existed.

8) Is everybody going to put up, or again is it just the hosts that have to prove they have been operating legally? How do you get the manus to own up to what they have been up to? Do you really think SC and CB/PR/DTE are going to show theirs? If it is so easy to tell the good guys from the bad guys then why hasn't SC done a better job of identifying illegal operators, why are so many of the defendants cases dismissed?

I have a complete set of the Essentials 1-6 (180 discs) and pieces of 7-9. I purchased SCDG sets 5 & 6 on Ebay a couple of years ago and they sure look legit to me. The packaging was the most convincing part since it arrived in a very professional shrink wrapped DVD movie type box with all the details written on it. I paid about $40 each.

I have no idea whether yours are real or not, and they might have been sold at a loss just to get something out of them, but...

The minimum royalty on karaoke songs is about .14 per track, not to mention the fixing fees and other charges.

The CB Essentials discs have 450 tracks each, so the royalties due the publishers would be about $63 for each disc. That tells me either that (a) somebody's taking a pretty big hit on those discs or (b) the publishers didn't get their royalties.

If the royalties to the publisher is $63 for each disc, I guess I got a good deal for 6 at $59.99

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ALL-6-CHARTBUST ... 0814890659?

And they are original not copies, the discs are pressed and each have the barcode in the center of the disc!

But to be honest, they sound bad, way too compressed and there's nothing I can do even if I extract them in the BIN format, the file was poorly encoded and now damaged... I own some Chartbuster CDG and they sound very good! Well, it didn't cost much but not worth much...
