1) If a KJ has the karaoke tracks to the Bruce Springsteen album that won't be released until March 18th, is he a pirate?
2) If the same KJ announces on mic that he has said tracks of an unreleased album, is he a stupid pirate?
Just wonderin'.....

Probably.
Just wondering how they would get music to something that isn't released yet. And why would anyone care if the kj has the tracks to music that they wouldn't have a clue how to sing it not being available to listen to to learn?

Might be a better question to ask - Does anyone sing Bruce Springsteen Karaoke? -Chris

I've done "Born to Run", "I'm on Fire", "10th Avenue Freeze Out", "Cover Me", "Dancing In The Dark", "Glory Days", "My Hometown", "Thunder Road" and of course "Born In The USA" (4th of July).
I guess that makes me a Springsteen fan.
I've sung Manfred Manns' cover of "Blinded By the Light". Springsteen's original version was released on Legends #164.
I'd really like to know how someone would acquire tracks before the album's release. Specifically if that person had obtained karaoke versions of said tracks. I believe it does indicate piracy, but it ain't proof.

Sounds like a yes and a yes unless he is a personal friend and Bruce Springsteen is really intent on getting his songs out on karaoke before anyone hears him sing them.
We get Bruce Springsteen songs done almost nightly. Oddly enough, a big one is "Secret Garden."

Glad to see he's alive and well in karaoke. Seriously, though, for whatever reason -- never heard a Springsteen tune done. Of course I don't hang out on the East Coast, either, and our area is quite country. But still, we listen to him and I was a big fan in the '70s.

Yes indeedy. I was being sarcastic. He played a track or two of what he claimed were songs from the album ( how would I know for sure?) as filler, than sang a karaoke track.
Of course there's no way of knowing ( me knowing, anyway) if these really are said tracks, but if they are I am amazed at the ability to pirate them so far in advance of the release date. I'm am doubly amazed at the fact that the guy was pretty much announcing that he was a pirate of some sort.
Since legit karaoke companies haven't produced the tracks, they can't claim anything. The owners probablt wouldn't care about a single KJ, so I'm guessing he feels he's probably on safe grounds.
However, I'm guessing that if he's one kind of pirate, he's probably all kinds, and I think one of the mfrs. already named him... Still, really stupid.
I get a LOT of Springsteen singers. Mostly Born To Run, Rosalita, Tenth Avenue Freeze Out, Thunder Road, and I'm On Fire.

I hear an occasional Springsteen song done, not often though. I seriously doubt they are legit tracks in any manner since Springsteen follows the same thought on karaoke as Henley & Frey of the Eagles.
