Which brings up a point I have made many times...
Why don't the record companies get into the karaoke business. They already own the rights to the music, and have the music avail from the master tracks. All they have to do is pay someone to make the lyrics and sync them to the music, and viola, they have another revenue stream. Heck they even could include MP3+G tracks on all the CDs they release.
Yeah I know it is not a BIG revenue stream, but it would be an easy one.
Seems like a no brainier to me, but perhaps I don't make enough money to make such an easy decision.

This one left me a little confused. I was under the impression the KTS was an online store, not a karaoke producer. I bought mics from them once. www.ktskaraoke.com Is this a different KTS?

Don't know, never heard of KTS Karaoke, but that would be understandable if a store is producing karaoke tracks for resale without proper licensing.

Related info – discussion - NPR News Radio http://www.npr.org/2012/01/14/145221276 ... =145221276I like the end part “A judge will decide this case; there may be appeals, there may be other cases. But until then, sing out, drive carefully and remember: tip your server.” (like!)
