Karaoke Forums

Many of you notify the administration of spam posts, and we get to deleting and blocking the poster as we can. We only have a few Moderators who also move them to a secured site until they can be formally deleted and the poster banned.

Unfortunately, this is a public forum, and while we all resent the spam posts, this is an unfortunate consequense for our members. Your best bet is to report the improper and/or spam posts immediately!

I appreciate everyone who has been assisting with the reporting. I will continue to monitor the forums and ask that everyone continues to report these as well.

It is a pain I think they have software now that searches for forums and they are able to register with more than one at once..  I had a spammer from the UK that wanted to put links to online gambling sites. First day he reg as slot1 Delete member then next day slot2.. Finally I blocked any names slot*.. Then it was different so I blocked a certain range of isp's Then found out I was blocking the google crawler....

Further, as many of you now know - we have a new Moderator.

Hopefully with his assistance we can remove all the SPAM and other garbage that has infected our site.

I would love to have others as moderators - however they must meet at least these basic criteria:

*  A Cool Head (then how did I get this job?)
*  At least one year membership (identifiable by a star under their avatar)
*  A regular contributer to the Forums

Also, I would like to have some one from various time zones (like Europe?)

Please provide any nominations and I will present it to Management as they have the final approval.
