Hey Folks,
To increase the speed of all Karaoke Scene sites, I have upgraded to a faster processor on a new server, as well as, increased the Internet bandwidth by 25%, 50% more hard drive space, and doubled the RAM. With these changes you should start seeing improved performance.
The hardware upgrade, designed to improve overall performance and stability, is scheduled for this weekend. It will require an email service outage from 11 PM on Friday until 11 AM on Saturday. During the outage you may be unable to access your email account, however no incoming messages will be lost. As soon as the new server comes up Saturday, all email will be delivered.
[font=Andalus]Transfers will take place tomorrow (Saturday, March 18th) between 8AM EST - 11AM EST. Server will be running but Forums & Singers Showcase will be offline to do updates.[/font]
I apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience as we work to eradicate slow performance.

Please be patient, as this may take longer than anticipated, due to unexpected "techniculties*"
Some of you may have been able to login unfornately many have not. This situation is effecting Singers Showcase, Karaoke Forum, Club & KJ Directories and any section that uses the databases.[/font]

Currently we are working on access for the database for Singers Showacse.
We have been at this for hours - we know about them and are attempting to repair.
PLEASE Be Patient. This was completely unexpected and we are uncertain as to why they are occuring.

Sorry Phil but it is 5:45pm Calif time and out here we still can't sub a song. It won't copy!!! Also had trouble logging in the forum. Please check. Appreciate it!!! Sorry i just found out so far it is Fremont,Calif that is having trouble. I am going to try again. Thank you for all of your hard work and lost of sleep. Barbarb

I still get the black screen saying you're working on the servers when I try to go to Singer's Showcase.. but I'm gonna go clean out cookies and temp file.. and see if that fixes it... otherwise I guess possibly DNS issue at my ISP?? but I can get here so that's weird..

It worked for awhile now with Firefox I'm getting this error It wants to call up my php editor.. I dont know if its on this end or not.

I can log on fine enough but none of the subs from 3/19 will play for me..Los Angeles, 10:09 pst.. have not tried subbing, waiting for this to be cleared up..

I could delete one of my songs, but it won't let me upload, I get that copy file error message...Phil, I sent you a PM.
I hope you get it all worked out!
My web host is moving my sites to a new server soon...hope it works out well, too.

STILL CAN'T LOG-ON TO SINGER SHOWCASE......I GET THIS MESSAGE......
TEMPORARILY OFFLINE!
Please Standby we are upgrading the servers. When you don't see this message anymore you will be on the new server. If you posted a song Today (3-18) and then they don't show up in your account you may have to upload them again as we were testing connections. We seen 5 new songs uploaded on the old server and may have not got them loaded on the new server. We will try our best to make sure everything is moved over.

Some people obviously are not accessing the new server.
This is due to the fact that some area ISPs may not have resolved to the new servers. You can check to see if this is happening in your area.
ON WINDOWS:
Click Start
Click Run...
enter cmd click OK
at the prompt type >ping singersshowcase.com
You should see:
[font=Courier]Pinging singersshowcase.com [64.20.49.194] with 32 bytes of data:

If you see any other IP address, you are not accessing the new server.
NOTE: It can take some ISPs a few days to catch up.

Hey Phill this is the message I'm getting. Its pretty well the same as yours exsept the numbering is a little different would that make a difference?. Anyway, I'm still unable to log in so I'll give it a few days for it to catch up. Thanks for the help........ Monica

If you are still seeing server currently offline and you did the ping as phill suggested and its going to the correct server.. you will need to clear your temporary internet files. then press f5 on your key board to refresh your browser. This should pull up the site on the new server..
