Hello everyone, I thought I would try to clarify in one post about the placing of (hyper)links in posts and signatures. There has been some confusion regarding this. If you have a website address you can place that in your profile. This will have a www icon appear under your post. ===== SIGNATURES: Any web addresses or links in signatures wil be removed. Sorry - but there have been many members abusing the signature lines by placing blatant advertising and multiple links in their signatures. Example: (Permitted) --- "Karaoke Bob" Stone Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas KJ over 15 yrs {One website link in profile} (Not permitted) --- "Karaoke Bob" Stone Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas KJ over 15 years www.bobstone.xxx/ www.karaokebob.xxx/ www.karaokebob.xxx/karaoke/ www.bobkaraoke.xxx/ Please be advised that promoting oneself or your business is strictly prohibited in any of the forums. ===== OTHER ADVERTISING: We offer these forums as a means of communication. To share ideas and information. We don't want to have people promoting themselves, their services, or the venues that they may work at or even visit., then this would defeat the main purpose of the forums.
