How do I permanently set it so when I look at a thread, the newest message is always first.  Right now it is always oldest to newest and have to resort every time I look at a thread.

Not sure if we have the capability as users to adjust settings like that.  With the exception of the sign in feature, that enables you to "View posts since last visit" (link on top right upon entering general area), I don't think the individual threads themselves can be rearranged to our liking on this bboard.  That's probably an administrative software feature, or program the administrator would likely have to add on to our control panel settings. Closest feature we have (I think, not certain) is to mark, or "watch" a thread, in which case via Email, the responses to prior posts in marked or saved threads are sent to the individual.

I utilized that feature for awhile, but after a few days of seeing in email  "There has been a response to your saved thread", opening the email, and seeing it was always me who was responding to the posts... I trashed the feature  :(
