Hi Phill.

I tried to change my email due to the email no longer being valid.
but when I try to change to a valid email I get an error.

The old email was an ymail account that I no longer have access to due to it being
closed. I requested yahoo close the account, and I got notice it was closed for good.

I only use gmail due to having issues with ymail and outlook.

I have never had problems with gmail working, it just works.

The error I get when trying to change to gmail in my profile says in red letters
that gmail spams too much.. or something to that effect.

All I know is that I cannot seem to use any email service other than gmail without having
problems and there for I need to use my gmail email.

Please inform as I would hate to lose my membership here over this issue.

Sincerely thanks.

Your membership is secure..
And, I believe gmail was the largest spammer here.
I did see something about gmail being banned not that long ago.
I'm sure Phill can address this.

Thanks JD for your reply.

I had no clue about gmail being a spammer or being banned.

I did try outlook as another option, but for some dumb reason the two step security would not
work and kept sending bad codes to my phone. ymail two step security worked, but the password was no good after only 10 mins or so, kept having to reset password, but then it would never work. I finally requested the ymail account be deleted, and got notice that it was.

I have to have my email setup so that the security sends a code to my phone and without the code you cannot get in. I had to do this due to nosey family members getting into my email..etc.

Gmail was the only one that had actually worked for me with no trouble...So I hope Phil can address this so that I can at least be grand fathered in or what ever you call it. :)

I should add, "Spammers" using Gmail were the bad guys, not Gmail..
