Hey Phil, what ever happened to the forum shop where you could buy (with the points you earned from posting) fancy fonts or signature special graphics, among several other things just because you could . Was that exclusive to the old forum or an add on you can bring here too? Those were fun to play with.

yeah that was something that used to be available with phpbb v2 - version 3 they got more conservative and don't offer those fun things - apparently this opened the forums up to even more hacking and corruption

I used to have a forum script in my younger days. v-Bulletin i find is best but with all the Bot posters, rss feeds, auto this, auto that. Not worth to spend the money on good scripts when many are free.
I'm shocked they don't use google adsense on this one in between posts and threads. Many forum scripts can generate quite a bit of cash flow. A torrent site that just closed was generating cash flow in the six figures.
On another note there is a very nice AJAX based forum script that i noticed is also available as free within CPanel fantastico script installer.
Either or... i just want to say, simple is always good. Love your forum.
