Me & Phil have been trying to work this one out.
I have not been able to login to the forums for two days - via the actual forum links. When I do login I get a nice big white screen on my browser. Although it shows I am logged in on everyone elses side (apparantly). How I am able to get in is to view the source code of the white screen - which displays the entire KS Forum HTML code, and copy a thread link and paste that allowing me to enter the forum. However once in I am not able to click on any of the main topic links ie PUBLIC FORUM, ADMINISTRATIVE, BOARD INDEX, etc.
I have to manuever through the board via the 'jump to' drop down box in the lower right corner and go to the threads directly under these main links ie Technical Forum, Karaoke Forum, Announcements, etc.
Have tried everything on my end cleaning out cache, temp files, history, rebooting. Nothing is working. Have even tried 2 other computers, one on a completely different IP network.
So has anyone else experienced this (I guess this could be a moot question if they didn't know how to get in through a workaround they wouldn't really see this).

I have had a couple of occasions similar to that but it cleared up when I redid my favorites link to the board.
I still can't get it to remember my log-in and must log-in again on every visit.
Also, posted links no longer open in a new window and I can't find a setting to get that back.
Navagation doesn't seem as easy as the last board, but that's probably because most of the forums I've been in have used that program and over time I got used to it and learned my way around. I'm sure I'll get used to this one......someday.

I am really surprised by some of the comments...
We have been using the phpBB forums for approx. 8 years. I recently upgraded from the less secure version phpBB2 to phpBB3.
The basic structure and layout is exactly the same.
There were many modifications done to the previous version that I added over the years - basically tweaking the forum with more features. Many of those same features are built into the updated version. Also, I will start modifying the forums after I am able to figure out a few other more pressing issues.
Last week - Singer's Showcase was attacked several times by some hacker (Cracker)
Singer's Showcase has been down for nearly a week. I am desperately working on replacing and upgrading it as well. Unfortunately, there are two major problems. It was integrated with the phpBB2 which has been seriously modified in the security aspect. Plus, I have installed several security features and measures on the server. I am re-writing coding and scripts in order to get SS back up and running.
As most of you know by now - my goal is to make your experience on the site(s) - an enjoyable, pleasurable, and entertaining visit!
Please hang in there with me as I continue to make improvements!

I appreciate your efforts, Phil. This is my favorite karaoke forum even though I've only been here a short while in comparison to most. The new board is not going to scare me away - it's just teaching me something new. My gripes are minor, but I figured if I didn't get them out while you are working on it, I might be too late later.
Thanks for all the effort you put into it.

I tried accessing through the front tonight at my work computer with the same results so it HAS to be something to do with my user name is the only thing I can think of.

Been having problems for months. Mine is that my browser bounces me back as an unsuccessful search. I have to google Karaoke Scene Forum, then click all of the links until one works.
