I would like to suggest that it would be good to have an option to indicate that you like a submission, similar to the Facebook "Like" button. For me personally, I often would like someone to know that I liked their song, but I don't really have the time to think of something original to say. So sometimes I like a song but the singer never knows that I listened to it. I think the easier it is to provide feedback, the more likely people are going to participate. If I get 10 comments on a song, that's OK. But if in addition I get 30 or 40 "Like" responses, I know that enough people listened to my song to make it worth the trouble.

The bottom line for me is the more people I know listened to and liked my song, the more likely I am going to submit more. And the easier it is for me to let someone know I like their song, the more likely I am going to listen to more songs and let them know about it.
