It would be nice to be able to flag specific submissions as ones I like and want to revisit. Ideally, being able to queue them up in a playlist would be great. Also something that lets you play the last x submissions automatically would be nice too.

I toyed with this idea previously - unfortunately - because members delete their submissions it became problematic.

Well darn, I thought Len had a Great idea. I was wondering what the reply would be, sad that it is problematic. I would love to be able to add people to a fav list and be able to listen to what ever they do have posted without doing searches...etc

oh well, at least the idea has been looked into.

So then maybe what needs to be considered is the value it adds to the site as compare to the problem it is to implement. I assume you have a relational database behind the site? If your database developer is telling you it is a problem, you should question that. Because if someone chooses to delete a submission, it should be a simple task of deleting the reference from the playlist at the same time.

If only a few people value this feature, I would agree it is more trouble than it is worth. Maybe I'll set up a poll and see what kind of interest exists.
