I am SOOOO ready to cancel my subscription to this place too many problems getting and staying logged in ! This is outta control !

It's possible that you're having a problem with your computer or with your internet connection rather than with the website.

Maybe you can try using another browser...? I am using Mozilla Firefox with absolutely zero problems... Just a suggestion.

trying IE now still have to log in every time I switch forums or even in the same forum different subjects.

Try clearing your browser's cookies & cache. Then start again

Could this be the age old AOL problem?

Are you accessing through AOL?

If So there are other threads discussing this that somehow AOL
does not like this forum and makes you log on all the time.

It's definitely an AOL thing!!!! I have to log on 2, 3, 4, and sometimes 5 times, before this site recognizes me. I have Mozilla too, but I keep forgetting to use it (I'm so used to logging on through AOL). Also, this site has made me read the WELCOME and RULES page (stating that I'm a new user).

well the forum rules and log in have only occurred once for me but Kelley I hear ya as to how frustrating this can be...remember when I spent 3 months a proxy server to connect here and had to put up with porn banners etc

Now that is true ummm loyalty...addiction...stupidity??? all of the previous?

Anyway it turns out that Phil had my ip blocked...I think he was trying to tell me something...but I forget what that could have been

I got that aswell, yesterday. I'm not (and never will be) using AOL. I think that was just something on the site.

I've recently had trouble also loging on to this sight.(not an AOL user)

I've had similar problems in the last few days--having to log in multiple times, and getting messages that I need to post my first post before I can post in another forum. I'm not on AOL. I use IE. I have more or less success depending on what computer I'm using.

I haven't had any trouble - thank goodness. I use IE. I don't use AOL at all.

Hopefully some of the issues will go away for you all.

I use firefox and never had any problems until 2 days ago. The system treated me like a new user and would not allow me to login until I had read the forum rules.

Also everytime I come on the site now I have to login to see any posts in the Karaoke forum. It says something to the effect of that I have to have at least 1 post before I can read any myself.

This stuff started a couple of days ago. Before that I never had to log in to read posts on the forum. The only time I had to log in was when I posted or replied to something.

I'm not AOL either.......I'm Comcast

I noticed that too.... I'm getting that both on AOL and Firefox.

i am using firefox, and had to read the forum rules before i could
read a post. today i was auto logged in, no prolems.

yep I been going nuts with it too. keeps telling me Invalid so I keep login on until I finally get on. Its a pain but this is the best karaoke forum out there.So Kelly hang in there or Ill miss that cute little singer dancing. OH Damn just told ne this post is Invald Session please resubmit the form

It took 3 times to post it but the last time I went to preview first, then submit, and it worked. Dont know if it means anything
