Ok I understand that you can't promote your stuff on the Events Calendar. Am I allowed to promote here? I am clear on the rules. |

You're allowed to promote having a good time (personally in the forums - not commercially). Enjoy the discussions and exchange of information. If ya have a show or company etc. ya wanna promote, I'm sure they'll give ya a good deal on buying an advertising banner or something appropriate. Meanwhile, enjoy

We offer these forums as a means of communication. To share ideas and information. We don't want to have people promoting themselves, their services, or the venues that they may work at or even visit., then this would defeat the main purpose of the forums. We all like to have fun and enjoy ourselves we do this through the use of these forums. You can share your experiences and knowledge with others. You can use a brief signature to introduce yourself and we even have it when you update your profile you may enter additional information such as your website. Please follow the rules and enjoy... makes sense. If people really like your music they will track you down. You don't need to promote the heck out of yourself.
