OK, here's a really weird problem for you! For months I have had a desktop shortcut to go straight to KS with IE7 (
www.karaoke-forum.com). One day a while back I was monitoring my computer's memory and CPU useage with FreeRAM XP and I noticed my CPU useage ranged from 70 to 100% after launching my KS desktop shortcut. (
www.karaoke-forum.com) and it would STAY high. However, if I started IE7 and my regular homepage first and then went over to KS from there my CPU stays nice and low. I tested this out several times and got the same results. None of my other website desktop shortcuts cause this same high CPU useage. I don't know if it's just my computer or what, but I sure can't explain the cause. But, I'm not using that KS desktop shortcut anymore! LOL
One way to monitor your computer's CPU useage if you have Windows XP is by going to Start --> Administrative Tools --> Performance
When going to KS from a desktop shortcut:
When going to my IE7 homepage first, then going to KS
