Can someone tell me how a person goes about donating points to another member ?

There used to be a donate button,  tonight at least there is no such button.  I tried improvising, depositing points in the bank, assuming from there I'd have a means of transferring,  I lost 2% of my points upon withdrawing them...hehe..oh well.

Even within my control panel there is no feature where I can donate points.

Now my avatar disappeared !   Dang, what's going on here !  PHILL.   I don't mind the bank taking it's 2% for my mistake in a deposit, and immediate withdrawal,  yet putting a lien on my avatar ?   THis isn't fair !   hehehhe, give me my avatar back !

So, do you get points when commenting in singers showcase, or just replying to comments that have been sent to you? Im confused! IIm brand new to this site...

I believe (in the forums) you receive a point per post, and two points per thread you originate. Yet I'm not sure.. I just collect them, don't watch them... Just a side-affect of shooting my mouth off way to much in here  I only recently started depositing my points in the bank.  (Saving up to adopt a virtual manatee) !

First off, Go to 'Point Bank' (<-- on Left in "Member Area") check to see if you have points stored there?!

Suzanne, you have several thousand points in your bank account.

Not certain why the "Donate" link isn't showing up for some? It is usually located next to the persons points. Click the link and a new window will open. Enter the user to whom you wish to donate points (if it is not already entered) then insert the amount of points and enter a reason. click submit and they will receive the points.

I know somewhere there is an explanation on the points sytem. (I'll see if I can locate that) But basically it is as Steven states.

Please note that comments made in the Singers Showcase are not counted. It is ONLY the POSTS in the FORUMS that earns points.

You do not need points to enter the Singers Showcase or the Singers Forum. Singers Showcase is open to all registered members. Singers Forum requires that you have a minimum of 10 posts in the forums and have requested to be a member in order to reply or create a new topic.
