Heya Phill!!

I gots a quextion fer ya:

Is it possible to have a sound effect or something whenever we get a Private Message? I thought I heard someone a long time ago say something about there being one, but I never seem to hear it...  am I losin my mind? By the time I catch my PM's it's usually too late to respond to the person who sent it, cuz they've given up and gone offline...

PS.... if there IS a sound effect already.... could ya change it to something more noticable? like a talking voice or sumpthin? HAHA!! make it YOU saying... "HEY CRYSTAL, DAMMIT! ANSWER YOUR PM!" jk! (but that WOULD be hillarious!)

I'd still love to know if a notification is possible.... a little DING DING when you get a new message? yay? or nay?

Crystal, there is an annoying sound that says "You've got mail" or something similar when you enter the karaoke-forums. I don't think it works when you're surfing the subs. The other way to notice pm's is to enter your e-mail address into your profile (it won't be visible...) and you'll get notifications to your mail.

WHAT??? how come I've never heard that before??? that's wierd.. am I somehow blocking the sound??


as for the e-mail thing... yah it does send me an e-mail, but I rarely check my e-mail (and it doesn't have a sound effect either) I was hoping for something instant.

OMG!!! This is totally freaking me out. I haven't spent nearly as much time on the forums as I have the subs, so I'm sitting here tonight with my headphones on, reading the forums, and suddenly I get these blaring cartoon voices screaming at me that I've got mail. Totally took me by surprise and had me looking through all my open web windows to find which popup was suddenly yelling at me. Then - and you'll all have to tell me if I'm completely high, or did one of those voices just say something about "my valuable f**king opinion?" Did I *really* just hear that?

Anyway, just while I'm sitting here dumbfounded, I see Crystal's post asking for a talking voice to tell her she has mail. What a weird coincidence!
