there's a few of us with the same problem.... maybe all of us

I'm guessing Phill (webguru) is working on a few changes.... should be fixed soon, I imagine

1) your computer is messing up
2) you network if messed up
3) I am going have to reinstall windows
4) this brings on an anxiety attack of - not again

It happened to me just now, about 5 or 7 min. ago!! Weird is the right word. All you read is mumbo jumbo. I did re-boot my computer and it seemed to wotk! What could have caused it?. Best Regards: John.

Sorry Folks,

I was away yesterday -

Someone had tried to crash the system. This didn't completely work. Apparently it just caused a glitch in the system, which wouldn't allow anyone full access to the site.

I was working on it yesterday from 3pm til around 9 PM. I still will need to install some additional security measures. I will be doing that today, so hopefully you shouldn't experience any further trouble!

PHILL

Would this also account for the reason trying to access the forums in here was so slow, to the point that I often stalled while in here ? I was about to put my fist thru my monitor thinking my computer was locking up and unresponsive. I even kept running my disk cleanup utility

(sorry, I just looked at the date of these posts. That was last week. My problem was yesterday the 11th)

We only had some strange problems a month ago when uploads were getting hung up and strange error messages were appearing. This is a pretty popular site, so despite whatever bandwidth they have, I am sure with the large song uploads they get a lot of traffic. Phil does a great job with this site and both Syber and I enjoy it a great deal.

Very impressed with the modifications so we could upload stuff (just for fun) with or without comments, the increase space for comments, and once our check arrives, (we don't like Paypal) we will join the ranks of the paying users.

So, we frequent here quite a bit and considering the work involved in setting up and mainaining this place, it is impressive.
