Hello. Several questions for you. Thinking about upgrading to version 3 but just trying to get some clarity on some things
First I am assuming that you are talking about Compuhost.
1. Currently using version 2. It was purchased from you guys quite some time ago and thinking about upgrading. What information do I need to provide to get any type of discount for version 3 download?
Not sure but I don't think that they do discounts. Could be wrong.
2. When using your remote request kiosk feature every now and then I will get a net talk 40 error that will show up. I have to go in and then turn off the remote request and then turn it back on and then the error disappears. Why is this happening?
Not sure
3. If I'm understanding correctly, your song books online is basically an online subscription which patches a user who might be out at a club or venue into the karaoke hosts machine. Is this correct? How does this differ from the karaoke kiosk feature? It sounds like they are both one of the same unless I am misunderstanding something. Please share with me.
The biggest differences is that you have to pay for it, it allows you to include the subscriptions in the songlist and the singers can see where they are in the rotation as well as see where and when your shows are. Also the Songbooks Online doesn't have a limit to how many people can be logged on at one time. Only the server computer has to be logged into the Internet itself.
4. A patron at a club I work offered a very interesting question. Currently my system is set up so I use a LAN through a small portable router which is fixed to a certain IP address so only people have to log in and be able to access the karaoke using the remote request software.
You can generate a qr code using the IP address.
Is there any way somehow that a QR code could be generated so instead of having to have people enter a 192 router type of address, that they could aim their phone at a QR code and take a picture and be able to log in and submit request that way or if not, what are some alternate other methods that would probably be easier?
See response above.
RSVP soonest.
Thanks
Rick
