I recently received a question regarding this. I figured it was self-explanitory but apparently not.
I am going to attempt to answer - If anyone can word this better please do so!
See images below: Left side of screen click "messages" note mine currently says 0 new messages this will take you to your Private messages.
Once you arrive there you will have a list of messages in the center screen. There is additional navigation available for various option as this is also your User Control Panel.
