No experience with it, but it looks like a typical home speaker even though it 'says' it's made for karaoke.  It may or may not work right.  Probably will sound great with music, but unless you get the proper power behind it & a decent mixer - it may sound muddy in the vocals.

I have no experience with these speakers, but the determining factor would be the anticipated use.  If this is for home, it will probably be more than you need.  If you are planning on using them for a gig at a large venue then they may fall short.  JBL is a respected name.  From what I can tell, they should be more than adequate for small venues or home use.  I still belive that the inexpensive RSQ Karaoke speakers (which are similar in size and design to these) are more than adequate for home use.  I owned a pair and donated them to a friend, but I sometimes wish that I had kept them.  They clearly are not "pro grade, but really were great for belting out at home.  I would expect that these JBLs would be significantly better.  Just my opinion.

cheers

Thanks for the responses.  I was thinking these would be great for home use as they are more attractive than your typical PA speakers and they're made by JBL, which is a big plus as opposed to just karaoke only brands like BMB, Vocopro, etc.
