Aww Thank You !! I had a great Mothers Day..Went to church & all the moms got roses from the kids & after we went to the cemetery to put flowers including the rose I got in church on moms grave, its our first Mothers Day without her so that was a hard thing to do.
Then off to the mall !! YEAH !! Thats what Im talkin' about !! LOL !! We window shopped for most of the afternoon when I seen an advertisement outside a jewelry store for a pretty necklace that had pretty stones in it & said Mom on it , I mentioned that it was pretty & my girls went & whispered in daddys ear that I liked it without me knowing & after me & the girls came back from trying on some clothes he had bought the necklace..You have to understand the importance of that is that I am not a jewelry kind of woman ( I mean give me a karaoke cdg & Im just as happy REALLY ) & Im the kind of woman that if I really want something all I have to do is get it myself. I was simply saying the necklace was pretty I didnt really want to spend the $ on it so I didnt ask for it or buy it myself...SO... the surprise was very sweet although I felt guilty for them spending $ on me like that. I love it though & the fact that the girls thought of buying it for me was the bestest part of it all !

I totally admire you being both mom & dad to your kids. My husband had to do it by himself for two years & when I came back he was soo happy. Its a hard job & anyone who does it day in & day out deserves to be blessed !! So Hope you had a Happy Mothers Day too :)

Well thank you "KK"!! It was good to hear you had a great "Mom's" day. Maybe you should show us all the "bling bling" you got. My day was fine. Went to see my mom and dad. They're still kicking at 83 & 81 and a lot healthier than I am. Yep, I raised my son and daughter by myself from 92-01. Then I got married (2nd time) in 01' after being "on my own" for about 12 years. I wasn't in a hurry to do the "marry" thing again until my kids were pretty much on THEIR own. Now....let's see what Fathers Day brings. HMMM.....yeah...a few CD+G's would be good. C' ya behind the mic.
