Bought one of these players at the weekend and STILL having trouble getting the microphones to work. The instructions are really unclear, could somebody PLEASE tell me what I have to plug in where.

Thanks in advance,

Simon

Well it could be 1 of a few things.  Your players mic inputs may be defective, the mic cord could be defective, the mic itself could be defective or your are using the digital output either optical or digital coaxial to hook up to your sound system.  All the players i've used to date need to have the analog - RCA jacks - connected in order to hear the vocals.

Looks to me like there are two dedicated 1/4" microphone jacks on the front left side of the unit. Once the mic is plugged in there, it looks like there is a separate volume control for the mics on the left side by those jacks. If you have the mics plugged into one of those two jacks, have the volume control on the player turned up, and have the player hooked up to your speaker source correctly, it should be functioning. If you have all of that done correctly and it is still not working, you either have a faulty unit, a faulty mic, or faulty wiring!!
