I would like to get a small inexpensive (?) mixing amp.
Any Suggestions?
I will be connecting up to a VocoPro 555. The only vocal controls/mic/music at this time are the standard features on the VocoPro unit.
I have 2 big speakers w/15' woofers,tweeters/midrange. The speakers are Seeburgs . I got them from an old disco/vfw hall. I have a 600 watt amp and they do not distort. I also shortline/low power some monitor speakers for the singers to hear themselves.
I have plenty of volume and it sounds better than some other "pro" systems I have heard. I would just like to have more control.
Thanks for the assistance.
Blue

Well with what you have, you don't really need anything more, however a small mixer would help improve the sound rather than going through the player mic inputs.  You don't need a mixer 'amp' as you already have an amp.  The speakers I fear are designed for dj playback which the music portion will sound great, but when you pump live vocals through them, it could change their tune.
A small mixer like the Alesis Multimix 8 USB

Would probably suit your needs just fine, PLUS it comes bundled with a decent recording software so you can hook your mixer up to the computer to record your performances.
You didn't state if you needed mics or not.

hey Lonnie I just got a price from my guy here in NZ for the same mixer $539, its freakin amazing that probably even with the cost of shipping I could get it from US $200 cheaper than here

Lonman,

Thanks for the advice. I have both wired and cordless mikes.
I was just trying to see what would maybe help with tones etc...

I appreciate your reply.

Blue

Morgan,
Isn't it like the middle of the night there?
