Keith loved having fun in here. His controversial posts were his way of playing. Again, certain types of humor aren't easily recognised. Certain content isn't necessarily who a person is, nor is it what they actually believe (as a mature adult), nor is it how they live, really feel, interrelate in real etc.
He has a huge heart. Some don't forget that the purpose of these bboards are to have fun. For some, I liken this to a playground for "inner kids", we do push the limits at times, and tease in backhanded ways. It's just playing (well, that's in part the reason I'm here anyway
) A reprieve from the REAL tough aspects of my life, (although I won't minimize the usefulness of such a site for those that work in a related field, areas such as the tech room are a great asset, but so much of the general talk areas make it difficult to visualize that we are actually mostly middle-aged adults talking to one-another). Seriously, how many mature adults really have the luxury of worrying so much about "rank" in a place such as singer's showcase (as example). So even if unaware, forums such as these DO in fact often tend to bring out the "kid" in us.
Keith could have an argument with a person, and think nothing of giving them a PA, or guitar a few hours later.
That says more than typed words IMHO !
I can honestly say there's NO PERSON in here he ever talked badly about, back-stabbed, or made any negative comments about EVEN in private PM ! That's quite uncommon.
He never did lose perspective of how relevant most we talk about in here is in the scope of real life events, and he realized people are people, quirks and all, never judged...
Example, If a girl in here had problems with what Keith stated, he realized...
