Since most of us KJ or participate in bars, and I read mention on another thread of a catchy bar name, it reminded me of a couple cute bar names I‘ve come across. When I was a construction millwright, I’d work the outages a nuclear plant in Perry Ohio. There was a bar called the “Step-off Pad”. (In a nuclear plant, when you take your Pcs/protective clothing off, you step on to this pad.) Another is on this long stretch of road with a few bars on it. It was the last one, or the first one, depending on which direction you were going. The bar was called “First Chance Last Chance”. It was some time ago, but it may have said “First Chance” one on one side of the sign and “Last Chance” other on the other. Any good ones? :) |

We've got a place called The Office. They have karaoke on Thursday nights, but so do a lot of other places and I've never been to that show. When my parents went to England they were near a little pub called the Heart & Artichoke, which they thought was a great name. So do I. |

There was one in Pasadena, Texas called: "He ain't here" so whenever the phone was answered he ain't here was the instant reply. There was also "Richard Heads Pub" I think there was one in Houston and one in Austin. Think about it for a minute it'll come to you. |

there use to be a bar here named "This is it" but it's no longer around....the toll road 130 took care of that. another called "The Hideout" is pretty cool. Another and I'm being 100% serious with the name "Cockpit". I've never been as it is a bar for "ahem" alternative lifestyles! "Speakeasy" is a nice place. around the corner from the capital is a bar called "The Caucus". I think every town has a bar called "The Hole in the Wall" and we're no exception. |
