I’m looking to replace my old jvc player that has given me many years of service, but is beginning to show its age.
I’d like something that I can rack mount.  Disk loading speed and accurate playback (no skips or garbled graphics) are my main criteria.  I have a key changer on my mixer.

Searching the archives, I found some good reviews of the Numark CDN25+G.
The RSQ T-2K also looks good, but seems to be new on the market.  Anyone have experience with these players?
I’m open to suggestions.

many recommend the RSQ mk-22.  It's a tad slow on loading up. It handles all of the most propular formats (DVD< MP3>CDG).  Also, while it has a remote control, most of the important functions are on the deck itself as well.

Personally, I have used the Numark CDN-25G, and had no problems with it.  I really like the fact that it's a dual deck unit, so you can cue one up while the other is playing.  The only thing I did not like is that although there is a pitch adjustment, there is not an actual key changer on the unit.  But I rarely have singers that want to change key, so this was not a big deal to me.  

I'm running off of computer now, and still use my CDN-25G to play CDs from and just in case someone brings in one of their own discs that I don't have.

PS - I have a friend that recently purchased a RSQ NEO-E500, and she found that it is terribly slow to load discs.  I'm very disappointed that RSQ calls this the replacement for the SV-222.

RSQ NEO-E500   Stay away from this piece of crap..... I bought one a few months ago hoping to use it as a back up. I have an RSQ single tray think its a 202. (one of the work horses) still works great. I have a CAVS single tray too.

the RSQ NEO-E500 dosent play all of my custom burned disc's, it is soooo sloooww to load. you have to select repeat all each time you put a disc in to go from song to song, the drive or whatever is in there runs weather the unit is on or off...as long as it's plugged in you can hear something in there running.
I have two friends that have one also and one sent his back and they sent a new one ...the same thing's slow , allways running, dosent read all disc's.
so I have seen four of these unit's and they all acted the same.
hate to say this but my CAVS unit never let me down yet even tho it too is a slow loader.
I just hope my RSQ single tray workhorse last's forever.

You didn't mention whether you wanted a multi or single.  If you want a multi your best bet is to hit e-bay for a JVC or Pioneer.

  If you're looking for a single, I've got a surprise for you. I have been using a Performer's Choice. This is an inexpensive  ( around 150.oo) machine that surprised the hell out of me, as I bought it as a back-up.  It's got all the bells and whistles in QUALITY.  If your mixer runs into a problem, this thing can back up a lot of the functions.  It's a quick load and durable. Despite the low price it's my first choice for a single.

  and a caveat:  Stay FAR away from the RJ Tech players. I went thru 2 in 2 months. Lots of strength im the music play, but you have to crank the vocals. The video sync circuitry is crap, heating up and losing sync causing vertical compression and roll, and mechanically fragile.
