I've had my program for quite a while... I sing, I mix, I save.... I don't dilly dally around in there, and haven't took the time to *learn* CEP like I should. But, I got turned onto something, and I think it's pointless, so here's my question (a simple YES or NO will be all I need...) Does Cool Edit support VST plug-ins, or DX only? Mind you, I don't have the upgrade to Adobe Aud., just the regular ol' CEP. Thanks, anyone who knows... . |

I don't think Cool Edit Pro 2.0 supports VST plugins. In fact from what I'm reading, Adobe Audition 1.5 doesn't either. The release of Audition 2.0 does support VST though. "Version 2.0 (Adobe Audition) was released on January 17th, 2006 with many major upgrades. ASIO (Audio stream input output) support, spectral-view waveform editing, VST (Virtual Studio Technology) support, new mastering tools....." |

Oh, if only I could learn "google first..... ask questions later" :D I did read that the new Adobe Audition is supposed to support VST plug-ins, so maybe an upgrade is in order? I'll tell ya about the cool plug-in I found, something Jian turned me on to a while back. I forgot I had it, then found it in a folder yesterday. Thanks Odie. And yeah, I may just borrow that book of yours. Maybe I'll learn a thing or two...... . |
