A good bit of the time, the simple answer is that the artist or his representation (record company, management, etc.) simply didn't grant a license for any karaoke songs besides these.
Also, I don't know alot about country music, but I have been a karaoke DJ for almost 3 years and I have never heard of Chris Knight or had anyone ask about his songs, so it could just be that the karaoke manufacturers don't think his songs will sell discs.
As a general rule, the larger karaoke companies will only invest in Top 20 songs, and your man Chris Knight has had exactly TWO top 20 country songs, both of which they produced!!
Plus, I looked this guy up on his official Web site, and he looks frighteningly like an older Jose Canseco. That has to be the real reason.
