I'm after a few ideas for some new songs to try. I've been singing some quite powerful songs recently, and I'm not sure where I go next. I've been doing things like Gold (Spandau Ballet), Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me (Elton John), Fields of Gold (Sting), Can You Feel the Love Tonight (Elton John), Love Changes Everything (Michael Ball), Annie's Song (John Denver). I'm enjoying singing these "big" songs, they always get a good reaction and I'm genuinely surprised that I can pull them off. But they're becoming my comfort zone and I want to push the envelope a bit, so any suggestions for other songs like these - ones with some powerful long notes in them - would be great. thanks Steve |

One song comes to mind is Delilah. If you have the range to hit the notes, pretty powerful song. |

I have only one song that comes to my mind in the "pushing the comfort zone" category, Its called Into The Night by Benny Mardonis. Ive heard a few sing it but for me its the hardest song Ive ever tried. Thus "pushing MY comfort zone" anyways. ![]() |
