What took me so long to find this forum? I've been singing for about 12 years in the San Francisco Bay Area. You'd be surprised how isolated the karaoke action is in a town like San Francisco, so I'm glad to find such a big scene here. I'm going to be hosting a good-size karaoke party in a few weeks and might be interested in becoming a more regular karaoke-night impressario, so I'm hoping to read more tips from seasoned KJs here about technical stuff, crowd management and keeping the party going. I'm already amazed with how serious the discussion can be. Glad to be here!
